I have dozens of projects I’m currently working on, most of them songs but all of them art. I also have collaborations with friends and their ideas. I want to keep progressing on what I’m setting forth doing with all of these projects and feel that my pace is a comfortable one. It might not be one that gets the most done in the shortest period of time but its one that can ensure quality in a short period of time depending on the task. I have a Christmas decoration I need to dig out and set up after repairing one of its ornaments. Thanksgiving was a little lonely but I’m ready for Christmas to be just as lonesome. I did a video call with my parents on Thanksgiving so it wasn’t that bad but I still had to spend the entire day by myself which I’m not too sad about because I love my moments of solitude which happen to be more often now-a-days. I haven’t been 3D printing as much recently or working on any of my development projects. I’m really just focusing on getting this job and then when I can afford to live comfortably on my own dollar, I’ll have much more available capital to invest in my personal projects. I’m still planning on launching the Kickstarter for Dank Riserpads on my birthday in March, so keep it locked.

Recruiter hell…
I’ve been in recruiter hell for the past 7 months. This limbo I wouldn’t wish upon anyone because there’s ALWAYS a conflict of interest. Even if you live beneath your means and have a low standard of living and manage to maintain finances living beneath the poverty level. They make more money when you make more money, so even though my salary requirements out-match any of those I compete with, it is imperative that the employer be informed of such an affordable potential employee. Maybe they learned their lesson with trying to cut corners and save money on web technology that employers are now more willing to pay four times the amount for someone qualified for the same position. This I doubt because from an executive / business owner perspective you want the highest quality work at the lowest cost. This is why the internet has been so stagnant for the past two decades. If the value of my position is best actuated working contract positions than I need to establish a long term relationship with a recruiter, but they make most their money finding contract to hire positions. It upsets me that in this industry we are not recognized by the commitment and passion we have, but the ability to look and sound like you know what you’re doing and ability to fake bureaucracy. I could go on for days how the web industry is corrupt. Maybe I will in another post.
