Wrapping up the week.

You ever notice how time seems to pass faster the more your mind is occupied and less concerned with the passing of time? Time flies when you’re having fun, and not to sound cliche but my job is fun. I get to design user flows with interfaces and experiences, and I have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team at making concepts into realities.

My main priorities are optimization and organization. There is a way to effectively advance without being organized, but early organization is a long-term commitment. Later on you’ll thank yourself for starting off well organized. It allows you to stay on top of things and operate effectively and efficiently with minimal hang-ups during lapsing processes.

Keeping email inboxes and documentation neat and tidy at first seems like a waste of time, but you’ll inevitably be thankful for doing so.

First week going well!

The first week is about finished and so far I feel confident that I’m doing well. I’m establishing my workflows and getting to know my team on a personal and professional level. I’ve already been assigned a couple tickets in their system that are becoming opportunity wells for the company. I hope to stay on a steady pace to not fall behind on my obligations and keep my documentation organized and easy to understand.
